Ryan Carrick has been flying it lately, building a serious following off his comedy skits on his own Instagram, as well as the celeb interviews and bits he does with Joe.ie. Whether he’s smiling at random aul ones on the street so they don’t think he’s a thug, or stepping into one of his characters like Joxy Turbo, he’s unreal at making everyday very uniquely Irish feeling moments feel way too relatable. He’s well on his way to becoming one of Ireland’s most recognisable comedy heads. Sound lad too, he even popped up in one of our Mo’s Tesco videos, so we’ll give him a few extra brownie points for that.

Simon Hennessy has built a serious following off his character work, and he’s frighteningly good at it. From absolute menaces like Adam from Bumble to the random personalities he pulls out of nowhere, he’s nailed that ability to create characters that feel way too real, like someone you’ve definitely met on a night out or suffered through on a dating app. He mixes in bits of musical comedy and parody too, always just slightly off in the best way, which is what makes it so funny. He’s got a knack for turning everyday Irish behaviour into full-on bits, and you’re nearly laughing before he even says anything.
